Personal: Born in St. Louis, Missouri, but grew up in Dubuque, Iowa; married to Dee Dee Gregory; lives in Fontana, California
Education: Hempstead High School and Clark College (now University)
Musical Background: Community theater (both in high school and college); sang in varsity and concert choirs; played cornet from fourth grade through high school; sang with the Clark Laras Singers and enjoyed summer singing tours to Europe with the ensemble.

Jobs/Career: Upon moving to California in 1984, Tom worked for Treasure Chest Advertising Co. as a technical trainer for the prepress department. Later worked for Quad/Graphics as a software engineer. Now works for Eurofins LLC. IT Developer.

Current Chapter: Joined the Santa Fe Springs Chapter (Masters of Harmony) in 1996; earned 7 Gold medals (1996, 1999, 2002, 2005, 2008, 2011, 2017), shared the 2005 Quartet of the Year Award (Hi-Fidelity) with Craig Ewing, Gregg Bernhard, Martin Fredstrom.
Quartet Activity: Hi-Fidelity received numerous quartet titles: SoCal West Quartet Champion (2002, 2004, 2005), SoCal East Quartet Champion (2003), and Far Western District Quartet Champion (2005-2006). Also won the 2006 Harmony Sweepstakes Championship. Other quartets over the years: Batteries Not Included with Steve Dorn, Mark Fitzsimmons and Mark Clement; Kaleidoscope with Don Shelton, Bill Harper and Leon Higbee; Countdown with Kelly Shepard, Jerry Lovell and James Hawkins; Telegraph with Adam Marangakis, Jeremy Loper and Robert Shelton; The Edge with Sam Papageorge, Jason Remley and J. Friedman Far Western District Quartet Champion (2009-20010). ; and American Pastime with Matthew Swann, Joe DeAmore, Steve Pence and Graham Pence Far Western District Quartet Champion (2014-2015). . Currently sings with Soundwave with Adam Marangakis, Peter Trist and Martin Fredstrom.
